Just needed to rant a moment...
This maybe from a story that I'm reading, But this part really struck me.
-Alan smiled at him, hitching forward in his chair to pat at Bill's thigh beneath the comforter. "I believe that God made you the way you are," he said simply. His eyes were clear and discerning as he continued, "To deny you the love that comes of your nature would be the real sin. And that's it, so far as I'm concerned.-
Bill is in a gay relationship and this is what his father said to him.
That's the way I see it. They say God made you who you are, that your whole life is planed out before you are even born, yet all these religious people say being gay is a sin.
How can it be a sin if it's the way God made you, if it's the plan he had for you?
I'll never understand how people can say one thing and it's all good and real and true till it comes to something they don't like.....
