New LJ Comm for The Administration Series - any thoughts?
lusiology and I are planning to create a fandom comm for Manna Francis (ms_manna)'s The Administration Series. It would be fun to have a place for fans of the series to post fanworks, share common obsession, and squee together. I'm very excited about the project. :-D

After heavily modding a busy com I can suggest a few things.
Moderate all entries, which means having to approve everything, this prevents those annoying 'if not allowed please delete posts'
I always let people know why I have disapproved a post, usually its because they don't follow posting guidelines, I have all the guidelines on the user info.
I read comments to make sure things aren't getting out of hand anywhere, I also have a staff of Officers on my com Gackt Army to help keep track of things when I'm not around.
People have to keep content in the journal, not link away, so you don't get dead links, or changed posts. I also don't allow links in comments, because then people can miss valuable info.
If I think someone is being abusive, I screencap and archive comments, and I contact them via personal email.
Some few persons in the com have disliked heavy modding, but, most people who know that this particular fandom is wanktastic, love to have a safe space to post.
I would have everyone have to have their birthdate on their journal to join, (all members screened)
oh and anyone who reposts locked posts is banned, permanently, and can also get kicked out if they make locked com business public.
and yeah, I would be interested in joining such a com.
