2008 Art list
January:
Unrequited - drawn for hd_holiday round 2007. It is actually what triggered me to make These Five Years.
March:
You are chocolate - drawn for hd_fanart's drawble challenge. I remember painting this after being completely exhausted from drawing for the world cup.
April:
Accompanied art for 100 Qs on H/D (Q1-11) (Q13-40) (Q41-54) - one day I shall finish answering them all.
May:
Layout Pic - it brought me back some fond memories of making my first animated gif, almost a decade ago. Time flies.
Fanart for D E S I R E (by aoifene) - I have a special kink for tortured!Draco. Especially tortured!Draco by the fabulous aoifene. LOVED.
These Five Years ( movie, individual slides #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #14, #15, #16, #17, deleted scene) - drawn for hd_worldcup. If there were life after death and I was told to give a list of self-accomplishments I did on earth, making This Five Years would be on that list.
June:
Illustration for Nightingale (by michi_thekiller) - drawn for Big Bang. Lesson learned: think thrice before signing up for fests with one-per-participant only prompts, where prompts are highly specific. From past experience (this one and also other fests) I discovered that I'm not very good at doing them.
XOXO - my favorite piece of art in 2008.
Sketches #1 (Imperius Curse, Cruciatus Curse, Veritaserum) - drawn for serpentinelion's drabble mini fest. Sometimes our mind can produce the same effects as these curses, if not more persistent, 'cuz you can't just do a Finite or kill the wizard/witch.
Learning Process - I absolutely have no idea why I was drawing what I drew when I drew it.
Sketches #2 (Tokyo, London, Paris, Las Vegas) - drawn for serpentinelion's drabble mini fest. Hopefully I could save up enough money to visit Europe in two years, so that next time I get the prompt "London" I can picture more than red telephone box. *is ashame*

Sketches #3 (Touch) - drawn for serpentinelion's July Challenge - Senses. I have wanted to do a detailed drawing for the second picture but still haven't done it yet. Maybe later.
Fire in the Belly (with poetry) - it was written on the return flight from Boston. The original details might have been lost from my decrypting of the scribbles I wrote myself on the hotel notepad. But the idea was still there. Thanks to potteresque_ire's awesome prompt, and frayach's fitting title.
August:
Spare the Rod fanart - taken from calanthe_fics's Spare the Rod, that particular scene is currently the second most beautiful h/d sex scene in my head. (The top one being the last scene of The Playroom by the same author. Can't you tell that I'm a fan already?)
November:
Dreaming Belladonna - drawn for hp_darkfest, supposedly has a dark theme, but it's mostly about sex. The background is dark enough, I guess? ;-P
Didn't do much art this year. I don't see next year being more productive, but I'm content.
