:( I decided not to sign up for hd_hols this year, and it seems sad now that it's posting, not to be involved. But I've gone back to work full time and I just knew I wouldn't be able to get something done by the deadline. I am going to participate in the Big Bang this summer though, so that should be fun! I hope you are too! ^.^

I'm sorry that you aren't participating this year... yeah I know how hard it is to balance RL work with fandom committment. In order to finish my submission, I had spent my Saturdays since mid October at home drawing all day, and still had to ask for extension. It's just impossible to draw on weekdays when you just pass out after coming home from work.

So you're doing big bang? Yay! I very much look forward to seeing your work! I don't know how much I can commit to BB this time; I won't show up very frequently on their board though, that I'm sure.

I left a comment over at the comm, but I'll repeat myself here. It's simply gorgeous. I just love Harry resting his head on Draco's belly. So very sweet.

I remember when I first heard of mpreg I was completely disgusted by the idea, but then I accidentally read an mpreg fic that was amazing, and I slowly accepted the idea, then fell in love with it. It's always fun to see others discover mpreg. :)

*nods* Same here. One thing I've found about kinks/squicks is that good fic is good fic, whether it has my personal kinks/squicks or not. I'm glad that I gave mpreg a go. :-)

it makes me really happy that you came across mpreg fics that you liked :). your thoughts on the drawing also cleared up some of my thoughts about it because i wasn't sure if you intended this to be mpreg outright, or just by possible implication. i think if i'd seen this outside of the context of the mpreg fest, i would have never thought draco was supposed to be pregnant [he looks perfactly slim and trim to me!].

as i already said on the comm, i adore this. it's such a loving pose. in particular i like that harry's eyes are closed, as if he wants to give himself over to this moment completely, and that draco's hand cradles harry's head, keeping him close.

Yeah. The belly was bigger in the draft, but I just couldn't bring myself to draw it. The garment Draco's wearing has already hit my limit. *grins shyly*

I'm very glad that you liked the pose and their expressions. I read similar scenes in a few fics in the exchange, and just thought that it might be cool to draw the scene for the exchange participants. :-)

yes. your drawing immediately came to mind as i was reading the latest fic posted to the comm, which has a scene in it that matches the pose draco and harry are in here.
