Fanart post
I don't know if it's my new job eating my brain or if it's early onset Alzheimers. I've totally forgotten about the daily_deviant art I was supposed to produce this month. My posting date was the 4th, and today is the, what, 23rd? :-( Not to mention the claim @ the_eros_affair, or the upcoming hd_holidays exchange. I've forgotten them all.
Since RL is not going to be less hectic, I'll have to scale down my gift art for hd_hols, and to slowly work on my the_eros_affair claim and hopefully have it done before Christmas. Will have to write daily_deviant an apology as well.
Despite all these failures, I did do something contributive to the world this month. It's mistful's birthday, and I was privileged to be invited by scrtkpr to make layout for her birthday community, merrymonth. Thank you very much, scrtkpr, and I'd like to apologize again for not having things done until the last minute.
The comm has already been revealed to Maya, so feel free to post it public. Everybody's welcome to join comm and look that the entries.

Here're the two pieces of fanart I did: The first one is ravenclaw!Draco, taken from the last chapter of If You've a Ready Mind. It is inspired by this particular scene: "I can do that," Potter told him, his voice low and almost incredulous. "And. Can I-"
They were angling their faces together already: Draco was still shaking, his face was still wet, he was not sure if he was feeling relief or if he was in shock. He held onto Potter as if Potter could anchor him.
He said in a breath, "You can," and then he was kissing Potter,kissing him, hands still shaking, Dark Mark glittering in the cold summer air.

The second one is from Coda to an Epilogue: Twenty Years Later, Or The Kids Are All Right (rated G)

It was a lot of fun making illustrations base on mistful's world, and I hope you'd enjoy these drawings too.
