Oooh more gorgeous artwork from you! I love the one of the two of them toether - it's like Harry is watching over Draco while he sleeps, keeping him safe. And Draco looks so peaceful. *sighs happily* The last one is gorgeous, too - damn they all are. I love them. ♥
I liked that first Harry as well. And I'm just an average fanartist. I merely draw the characters I'm obsessed with, post them and hopefully spread some love. ;-)
Out of all the really fantastic HP artists, you draw Draco more like a boy than I think anyone else does. It always feels when I look at your portraits of him that you have his innocence, and his sorrow, written on his face. I really, really love that.
Thank you very much! Yes I also think that Draco is often portrayed as slightly effeminate. I do too, sometimes, although I try hard not to. I'm thrilled that you could see his innocence and his sorrow on his face. That's how I see Draco, and want him to look in my fanart. I'm so glad that I got it right this time. :-D
*laughing* I'm going to run out of adjectives for your art, you realize.
Again I have to say that I like the way you use blues and greens in Draco's hair -- that works so well to convey shadow on fair hair. The angle you've chosen from which to depict Harry in the first picture is really interesting; having him in school uniform lends a certain weight to his determined expression, too. For both of the Draco sketches I'm taken by the mood of pensiveness, not quite sadness. It suggests that he's accepted something that he's a little disturbed by.
My favorite, though, is the Harry/Draco one -- sleeping Draco with Harry awake and protective, so nice! And there the way you've managed to show the rumpled clothing is really effective. Just gorgeous, all of them!
The angle of Harry's face in the first pic was one of those weakness I have. I like determined!Harry, but I always find it hard to give him that look without making him too old.
I'm surprised to see that most people like the H/D pic best. I thought the pose was too ordinary and both boys weren't pretty enough. Glad that it's not the case. :-)
Thanks again, for your wonderful comment. Let me know whenever you run out of adjectives and I'll go get you some. :-)

Well, I can't say if the pose was ordinary, but I like the boys to be not TOO pretty in fact. They don't need to be; they can be interesting and sensual without having to be pretty also.
Not that it's BAD to have them pretty either... *g*
If I need adjectives I will come to you first! ;-)
