Chocolate, surprises and ducks.

I've got much to tell you, my dear hedgehog, as many a thing has happened, but first and foremost the promised list of Home Bargains products, so you can decide if they offer anything you'd like me to get:

(i warn you though; i'm writing this from memory, as we went there today, so if there's something specific you'd like me to get you, just email or text and i'll check if they have it. :) )

(http://www.tjmorris.co.uk/suppliers/ - this is the list of their suppliers - you have photos of some of the products and brands at the bottom)

1) Cadbury's Dairy Milk large, small and in between

2) Milky Way, Twixx, Mars, Snickers, Bounty, Lions - large packets of mini-bars

3) Juicy fruit chewing gum - large packets for ab. 39 p

4) any kind of mint gums and menthos - large packets for ab. 39 p

5) basically all kinds of chocolates, chocolate truffles, cookies, sweets, biscuits, cereal, chips, tortilla chips, dips, fizzy drinks from all kinds of brands

6) when it comes to body balms and lotions the stock is not impressive - mostly cheap regular balms (one with fig extract) and Nivea products,

7) they also have lip vaseline, exfoliating wipes, shampoos, face scrubs and other cosmetics

Sorry about the "shortnest" of the list - it's hard to remember all those flashy labels... :)

I'm curious how you are, babe. Your last entry is pretty enigmatic and intriguing...and that's why i love you.

As for me, i got to Luton in one piece in my "a bit too tight, but too cute not to wear boots" and we had a nice drive back to Mansfield. Thursday was spent mostly relaxing and on friday we were to set off to the mysterious quaint hotel/inn near Edinburgh.

But it turned out the evil cunning Rabbit booked us a room in Center Parks, a big sports/holiday resort, that has almost every sports activity you could think of on offer, not to mention a golf course, a lake and a beautiful forest; both of which are populated with squirrels, ducks, swans and other cute animals (i even saw a small bunny hopping under our balcony once). We got there on friday and spend the next three days playing tennis, badminton, table tennis and swimming in a really cool pool (that's the first time i was able to go into an in-door pool in the evening, swim on my back and see myself reflected in the roof window panels :D ). Turns out i enjoy badminton almost as much as tennis. Lee's a really good badminton player - he played it all through college. Ironically, on our last day we discovered that the main activities lounge has a golf simulator (one of Lee's favourites) and ! a climbing wall! Martino, if both of us ever become really rich we should go to one of their resorts (they also have them in France, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium), because they also have crossbow and archery ranges! When we walked over to them, i thought "Martina'd squeal at that..." They have paintball and laser shooting, too...i guess those parks are the kind of places a big group of friends could get the most of. Humph, i sound like an ad leaflet, yikes.

Anyway, one of the cool things about the resort was it's located near Cambridge! On our way back we drove in, got on a bus and spend a couple of hours just walking about, looking at the colleges ( it's where my hero the lovely Stephen Fry and the incredible Hugh Laurie went, hihi) and barkas on the river. It's so commercialized now, though...those small medieval building really don't look the way they're supposed to with Mango and Marks & Spencer's signs on ground floors...it was a good day all the same. I had the best panini of my life there and discovered there exists a delicious blue cheese called dolcelatte!

I'm gonna finish for now, as we just watched "Dexter" and are getting ready for bed, but i'll write more tomorrow. I wonder how you are and how the beginning of term is going. Escribes!

later: i am...

stealing lives
missing magic
cuddling
selfishing non-fishing
obsessively looking through photos & look-books
designing dresses in my sleep
thinking of silk and cotton
not exercising like i should
eating too much and too late at night
learning from Stephen and not from Julia
unable to decide between clean-cut and bohemian in any respect
thinking of hats too much
mood-swinging and wondering about it
thinking of colours...

no tea this time...
