The Forest shoot was so-so. As soon as I got to the school I had hundreds of ideas on shots and I was really eager to explore the building and test lighting etc, and took lots of photos of empty spaces and forgotten coats hanging on hooks in corridors and chairs stacked up and reading corners and the like, just for my own use. The life aquatic will get better with every viewing. I'm sure.
I have a myspace I made one day randomly but I never use it but ,my friends keep randomly finding it and adding me even though I don't have a photo on there. Hmm.
I wish you posted more! Are you going to Le Tigre?

I am! Everyone is, it will be bizarre. I am half excited and half dreading it, I imagine every other person there who I don't know to all be utter knobs. But I suppose that's more of the indie snobbery for you. Do you have plans for further partying afterwards? It's Achtung! at the Retro Bar and they're having a sort of Le Tigre after-party thing, they play mostly electro but I reckon it'll be fun and riotous if you fancy it? (I just wrote "if you fanny it" and I'm now smirking like a cat with cream)

I know! I can't believe they sold out the MDH! I will probably go on to achtung after if I can get beck too as I have never been before and monday is my first night out in AGES because of stupid essays.
Jayne County + Zombina = wouldn't miss it for ANYTHING. It will be GREAT, Jayne County is going to be at ATP too, I don't know any of her songs but I know her by reputation! She's been in so many bowie/iggy/lou reed books I've read.
Bah, your talk of myspace made me update my profile instead of doing essays!!

Get "Fuck Off" by Jayne County, it's ace. I 'checked out' your profile, I was given the Secret Histories but never thought it looked any good, should I give it another try?

The Secret History is AMAZING... it's so well crafted, it's a great first novel. I have the Little Friend somewhere too but I haven't read that yet, I hear it's not as good as her first though.
Jayne County doesn't seem to be on soulseek and I've tried many times. Boo. I will put her on my wishlist or something. I have one song of hers on an iggy Pop Tribute album and yes, I did indeed buy an iggy tribute album... I'm *that* uncool.

"The Secret History" is a must-read book. Who could resist a novel containing murder, mystery, and intellectual fuck-ups with a penchant for incest?
