So as I posted, I was in Ukraine from 30 July to 11 August, and I had a wonderful time.
The children were amazingly behaved, so friendly and enthusiastic to learn.
The translators were great - Roma was hot and fab at English and with children. Victoria also, but she became a really good friend to me.
The village itself was so welcoming and open to our presence and work there.
Our helpers were amazing and also enthusiastic. Although there was the English barrier, we communicated great and also became good friends.
Our team bonded very well, and the love was just surrounding us. Our work was well received and although there were some problems, they were blessings in disguise and everything worked our for Him.
I really had an amazing time, and to be honest, I didn't want to come home. I am suffering from Ukraine withdrawl symptoms, but i hope to return and I'm keeping in touch with some of the people we met.
From I've been home, I've not been up to much. Just been with parents, friends and I met up with my university friend Sarah yesterday. It was a fun day.
The A Level results were out yesterday. I'm so glad I am a 1990 baby, as there are serious problems with university places and it is very likely that I wouldn't have got my place at Edinburgh, if it was this year. I'm so thankful.
