I can't believe I forgot to post this awesome exchange:

Hi Lillian & Kristen,
As you may know, it is a requirement of membership in UUCA to make a financial pledge to the church. We have not received a pledge from you for the fiscal year July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009. If your circumstances do not allow you to make a pledge at this time, you may request a waiver from a minister. You can do that through me or speak to a minister directly. To make a pledge, go to http://www.uucava.org/Canvass/index_2008.htm. If you would like to discontinue your membership at UUCA, you can let me know by email. It would be very helpful to hear from you by Dec 31, which is when we report our official membership numbers to the UUA. Our UUA dues are based on our number of members.
