I'm looking for the original citation for "Ladies Sewing Circle and Terrorist Society". Anyone? Bueller?

I can't place it, but I want to say I read it in a book and fairly recently (which should narrow things down a bit since I've not done a whole lot of reading lately).

Started at the Oregon Women's Political Caucus in 1974, the "Ladies' Sewing Circle and Terrorist Society" is for the real society ladies down with the cause. (from the T-shirt place)

edited to add link to t-shirt

If it dates back to 1974, it probably pre-date's Nancy's Buttons.

(I believe everything Nancy uses predates her buttons since as far as I can tell she just steals other people's work without permission or credit.)

I think I first saw it being sold by Nancy's Buttons (it's available from her web site)
