Someone should do studies into
1) why students can't concentrate & read scientific journal articles, and
2) the phenomenon of scientist's sudden panic attack that something was not done in the lab (e.g. something had been left on the bench that should be kept in fridge/freezer or forgot to turn off the fluorescent microscope or add x to cell culture) after they leave the lab or just before falling asleep, especially when it turn out to be unnecessary worry.
