my weekend
I think I saw someone famous yesterday
but famous as in NZ-famous of course
at the rugby game yesterday
I still couldn't think of his name
but I remembered he used to host a lot of shows before, such as Treasure Island (at least the first one), Big Brother (he was in the NZ studio talking bout the Australian BB), and he was also in Shortland St and I think he played someone evil in another show. Quite tall and have short black hair. Post up his name if you know, please :)
He walked past me like twice when I was at the gate near the end of the game
Last nite, saw Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, we arrived late so it's more like 'harlie & the Chocolate Factory' hehe
but yeah I still find the 4 grandparents lying together on one bed esp like that, very odd, from the first film too
it's quite good I suppose and the oopa lumpas r so tiny, I thought they r more like dwarf then tiny tiny ppl
also went on a convoy drive on Joel's MR2 and the MR2 owner's club
went from westgate to swanson, titirangi, royal oak, onehunga, panmure, ellerslie and end up at maccas greenlane
had a nice chat with Joel too
later went to a party out at Swanson, this huge-as house where everything is old-fashion it's like a museum, with wooden toilet seat, stick with a horsehead on (toy), piano with attached candlestick holder (!), yeah. They also had a spa outside which looks really enticing but no I wasn't allow in by Joel cos I had nothing to wear. 'no gf of mine will go in a spa in her undies (+ singlet) with another drunk guy' is wat his face said :p
also went to st lukes for a bit as Joel got a tshirt printed for his friend's 21st bday
he bought about $165 worth of stuff (clothes,shoe,initial d model) and I bought nothing
I dunno, lately not really into shopping. prolly cos of the constant finance pressure
and prolly also didn't see anything that jumped out at me (& with affordable price)
finally got home at 4:30 after being with Joel continuously for 24 hours - it's kinda scary prospect when I thought about it (not cos I was with him, but cos with someone for that long)
it's as if I went home straight away from work yesterday but I somehow lost a day in transit
