fun at the theater
the show - no surprise - was amazing. those people really are an amazing group of actors. i have a cd now with many photos and 4 movie clips which i will get on the web site (maybe including the videos). i love being the webmaster: i get goodies like that. :p
much of the fun came with annmarie, katie and evan. always entertaining. :p before the show, we were downstairs (where the intermission is), and evan set out the cookies, right? he was all proud of this (he did a really good job actually: all artistic on the plate there), but katie and i started calling him "martha" (upon my idea) because he was being all "martha stewart". yes, that is his new name. :D for intermission, evan hid behind the counter. this annoyed katie, who kept talking to him (so it looked like she was talking to the floor). evan had no trouble in kicking katie when she wasn't looking. :p someone came up to the counter asking if there was a gremlin behind the counter or something. *haha* then after the show, bill was trying to convince evan to be a part of the mac the yak performance at the harvest fest. "nooo, i can't!" "oooh, please?" stupid me, i was standing right next to evan, so he pointed at me and said "starlie will do it!" katie jumps in: "oh yeah, starlie'll do it!" "what? what am i doing??" the two evil ones are standing there, laughing. bill's looking clueless. i'm ready to kill evan. lmao i curse both of them after bill leaves, as they're giving me evil grins. :p this happened again when katie was trying to get evan to do something. "i'll make out with you if you do!" "noooo!" somehow, it got pointed to me, which evan said "starlie'll do it" (meaning make out with evan if he does whatever katie was trying to get him to do) i suddenly said "what am i doing now? why do you people keep volunteering me for things!? :p" (katie noted that folks do that to her too.)
do you know, katie's never heard of xena! i mentioned it (because there was a whip in the play and that reminded me), katie was like "who?" and evan and i were both shocked. "xena! you know! c'mon!" "oh yeah!"
after the show, numerous members of the cast invited us all to applebees. when eric (the sort of vice director...shoot...what's the word!? *dies*) invited me and found out that i was with my mom and it was up to her, he went and "demanded" that we come. lol okay, mom gave in. so we go and one of the actor dudes tell us - when we get there - that it's been moved to another place because it's too crowded at applebees. m'kay, so we go to tgi friday's. some of the cast is there, waiting. a few minutes past and our group grows larger and larger. 15 people. :p then everyone's seated, but we're missing annmarie and katie (who were first to leave the theater) and chuck (who's the president of the theater *haha*). mom and i drive to the other restaurant (muchly nearby), and we find all three of the missing persons inside waiting for the others. i ran inside and erm...pulled them out. and ta-da, everyone was finally at the same restaurant. lol
at the restaurant, there was probably about 20 of us. at a nearby table was one of the actors (bob) and his family, and the waiters over at that table started singing happy birthday. seeing that one of bob's family members was celebrating a birthday, and taking our cue, everyone at our table (all 20 of us - some a little drunk now) sang "happy birthday" too: loudly (but on key!). some dude at another table - who no one in our group knew - sang along too. :p just as loudly as us. "hey! he's making fun of us!" (laughter from all, including stranger guy) 10 minutes later (and this is at about 12:15am), the waiters gather at another table and the "stranger guy" (dude who had been "making fun of us") was being sung to as well. :p so OF COURSE, everyone at our table sings along, and just as loudly as before! then one of the actor dudes went "yeah! you rock! this guy here:" (pointing to the person next to stranger dude) "he sucks! but you rock! yeah, man!"
how wickedly amusing! a whole restaurant-filled party. :D
got home at 12:30am. :p
