::pokes head out:: I am back.
London was nice and Autumnally balmy. The
Frida Kahlo exhibition was great considering I've wanted to go for about as long as it's been running. I've loved her work for quite a while now, and I was thinking, fondly, back to the Art History paper I took way back in the day which focussed on 20th century art, and how most of the artists we studied, I've come to like more and more, one of whom is Frida Kahlo. However, it wasn't as extensive as the Tate's advertising lead me to believe, quite a few of the most famous pieces were, of course, missing. However, there was an amusing moment as I walked into Room 7, entitled "Still-Lifes", and the quote, for that particular room, read:
My head is full of microscopic spiders and a great number of tiny little animals.
Then I had all sorts of daydreams about Friday Kahlo meeting Dru and what 'fun' they might get up to. Oh dear, how sad etc etc
Well and... the SO and I watched an inordinate amount of Blake's 7 on Sunday which was quite fun. The rest of the time was a little fraught.
Back to Norwich with a crash because it's job-hunting and that's oh so blissful.
If you've updated a WIP, posted some new fic, or just had some amazing things going on in your LJ, be a dear and let me know, will you? I fear that most of my f-list has multiplied in on itself while I was away.
