My word that was fun!
Yay, it's the weekend.
I had chocolate bagels for lunch today from this place. Yum! (Uh, they don't actually show the chocolate bagels on their website, but you have my word for it, they are indeed the definition of yumness.) I've actually become (or trying my darndest to become) very aware of the food I eat these days - I can't remember the last time I ate supermarket bread, for instance.
I was actually pretty sad to hear that Thierry Henry was leaving Arsenal. He's such a player of integrity in the Premiership - it won't be the same without him. When I lived in London, my flat was in spitting distance of both Highbury and the Emirates Stadium. I sorta have a soft spot in my heart for Arsenal for that reason...
I caved in and bought an exceedingly expensive iPod online today. Yay! until I see my credit card bill
I'm still thinking about an insane journal... or a greatest journal ::twiddles fingers:: I also spent half an hour trying to post a photo to my LJ (my new layout seems to have got the better of me - SO FAR!) so I'm wondering if I'm beyond technical help

I also missed Frank Lampard's birthday by a few days. Not that I would have done much other than sent good vibes out into the stratosphere, but it's good to know in this fairly fragile year for me (in terms of my age!) that there are people still in the public eye who are around about my age. There's hope for me yet! Not necessarily to sign a multi-million pound deal with a football club and become a bit of a wanker - but hey. Anything is possible.
