I'll hide the money behind the wall

Thanks for the kind words yesterday - I feel something of an LJ glow infusing my frozen fingers! So much so that I'm posting today - phew! (Or the half hour that's left of it...)

One of my major life tasks at the moment is to get rid of my mountain of stuff. You know you're caught between a rock and a hard place [ultra warning beginning here: talk about underwear in a totally non-funny/non-sexy way] when you have bras to get rid of, you don't want to put them in the bin as is suggested by every person you ask on the topic -pishpash- so what do you do? You google bra-recycling. Huzzah. And whaddayaknow? There's a blog on lingerie!

Here are my helpful hints for today:
28 things to do with an old bra
and
How can I reuse or recycle … old bras?

This is thrilling you, right?

So many people are into Dr Who - which reminds me ages ago of my friend's boyfriend who is a major fanboy (much to my shock and bewilderment that these people exist outside LJ) and I sent him these links from a discussion on Henry Jenkins' blog. Part 1 and Part 2. Just in case it's new to someone...

Also of the good: I managed to catch some of the final at Queen's Club - Andy Roddick vs Nicolas Mahut. It was a thrilling game!

Something of the not-so-good: I pruned my f-list of communities. That was some hard work.

doctor who, tennis, recycling
