(no subject)
And...once again, I find myself mumbling about how I have no time to post...getting research papers ready for publication submissions has absolutely taken over my life recently. UGH.
In fact, I have got 3 weeks worth of BSG and Heros waiting on VHS screaming to be watched. Maybe I'll get to them before the end of their respective seasons (good thing they each have their own tape!).
Have been skimming the boards...and there seem to be a lot of interesting arguements? going on over at T&C...when I get the time I'll have to sit and read through them all...and add my pet peeves about fic too. :)
Stumbled onto the Black Donnelly's last week (in the midst of a mid-week melt down in which I told myself I HAD to chill out and watch t.v. for an hour). I'm finding it rather...amusing...and I'm thinking that wasn't the intention of the producers. I'm pretty sure that it's nowhere near becoming a new obesssion, but it is sortof intriguing to watch the Irish "mafia" duke it out with the good ole' Italians. Which I find pretty amusing, as I'm of Irish descent and my boyfriend is...well, not entirely Italian by blood, the majority of his family is...and they named him aptly to carry on his Italian lineage.
Hopefully it will all be over soon (well, not my life, obviously, but the paper writing bit). UGH.
