My sister had her totes obsessed friend and me over for TVD- her bf was there too and he was respectful, which was cool. He called Vickie a crack whore (*lol*WHUT?!) and we all made jokes when she died, but FUCK. Even HE agreed that killing Lexi was FUCKING DIRTY GODDAMN POOL, YO.
My sister called it. I sorta wanted to smack her, but on the other hand she was pretty cranky about it too.
Upshot:
"Haunted" is a whole bunch of Vickie/Jeremy fail.
"162 Candles" was damn awesome.
We got Grams, we got Bonnie magic, we got EVERYBODY HOPPING INTO BED WITH EVERYBODY ELSE. Srsly. Lexi/Stefan, Lexi/Damon (zomg- when she collared him and threatened him I almost giggled), Elena/Bonnie ("Just remember, you asked for it!" was the LINE OF THE NIGHT), and Caroline/Matt (*gag* *ralph*). And Stefan was all cute and not broody.
I loved Lexi. Arielle Kiebel's chipmunk cheeks notwithstanding, there was a back story there to be mined and it sounded AWESOME- starting with Lexi being 350yo and offering to swap her 70's mood ring for Stefan's walk around in the sun ring.
That said, Damon figuring out how to worm his way into the inner circle was crafty. CRAFTEH.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to next week. But NOT IF CAROLINE AND MATT ARE STILL SNUGGLY. AGH!
