I'm fairly bad at keeping in touch; how my family hates it too.

Here's chapter 19, much later than I'd anticipated. I had a bit of a rough time cranking this one out as it didn't want to crank. Can't say when I'll get 20 typed up--another short one with Gwar(??)--as the day after I completed 19 my back, shoulder, and chest all decided to rebel against me. That means I feel exactly like Arielle, or rather, I feel exactly the same as the day I was released from the hospital six years ago. It only hurts when I breathe. Walking across parking lots makes me winded (and hurt!), and laughing, hic-uping, and sneezing are horrible. All around, a good time to write 21, as poor Arielle and I suffer together.

On a happier note, I've just read Death Note #7 (OMG!!!L!!!Light!!!!!!Noooooooooo!!!!!!!). How does that story just keep getting better?! I also bought Neil Gaiman's "Fragile Things" and am totally, completely loving it. I mean, Sherlock Holmes meets H.P. Lovecraft in "A Study in Emerald"?! Ingenious! I expect the Novel version of this collaboration, Gaiman mark my words (just after you do more fun with the 'American Gods')! And "Forbidden Brides of the Faceless Slaves in the Secret House of the Night of Dread Desire" is now my absolute all-time favorite meta short story. And it's riddled with ghost stories and just the most amazing. . .and I'm not even half way through the collection--I've yet to read his Matrix fanfiction. My love/hate relationship to Gaiman thickens. Oh, and I saw a paperback of his "Coraline" on sale in the children's section for Halloween reading, and I snatched that up right quick.

So much inspiration, so little time.
