A meme, stolen from
_siddal_.
Wine: white - Riesling, red - Pinot Noir (and no not because of that movie)
beer: Don't like it. Occasionally I like a few sips of someone else's Guinness. I like the bitter strong taste of REAL beer (that is to say, stout); I just don't like the way it feels in my stomach.
other beverage: Water. Unsweetened vanilla soy milk.
_boy_'s iced tea. I have a Diet Coke over ice about once every 2 months. Alcoholic drinks? Tart appletinis, brandy, whiskey, single-malt Scotch. I haven't sampled that many types because I'm broke, so curse me for my conventionality if you like, but I love Glenlivet (that green fruity after-kick!) and mellow Glenmorangie. Not so much Laphraoig, though the name is just ~*~awesum~*~.
hot drink: decaf butter rum flavored coffee with half-n-half and whipped cream on top
fruit: blackberries, strawberries, cherries, pomegranate, pineapple
vegetable: asparagus, brussels sprouts, broccoli, artichoke, lots more but those are the big four...
cheese: CHEESE IS MY FAVORITE FOOD. It can do no wrong. I like so many kinds. Lately I've been into bleu cheese a lot.
nut: salted peanuts in the shell; macadamias
ethnic food: Indian, Thai, Chinese
fast food: mozzarella sticks from White Castle
pizza: Donato's pepperoni with thin crust, dusted with cornmeal on the bottom; LaRosa's foccacia florentine (it has mushrooms and spinach and olives)
main dish: filet mignon, or grilled portobello mushroom, or both
salad: a very good caesar, or the standard sort of garden salad with bleu cheese dressing
soup: cream of broccoli
snack food: peanuts, Munchos
cookie: peanut butter (soft)
pie: used to be a big fan of Heath Bar pie from Perkins
ice cream: I loved these no-sugar-added bars-on-a-stick with butter pecan ice cream and a nutty chocolate shell, which I can't find anymore. They were goooood. ::Vincent Vega voice::

[E is for essential items you use everyday:] contact lenses, eyebrow pencil, lip balm, Zyrtec D
[F is for favorite song at the moment] Goddess help me, anything but the mall Christmas loop tape which has been playing since Halloween and I still have FORTY DAYS TO GO. I'm into "Come Undone" by Duran Duran lately, too.

[M is for mom's job:] hairdresser
[N is for name of your crush:] Eternally and 4 Ever: Terence Stamp, James Spader, and Isabella Rossellini. (In other words: I like the beautiful and weird.) At the moment, David Duchovny is making a comeback due to my renting the X-Files. And I admire the quiet, competent, manly-yet-not-macho mannerisms of Sayid from "Lost". NO "LOST" SPOILERS PLEASE! I don't have TV, I'm watching it on DVD which means I know nothing post-first-season, and won't till the second season comes out on DVD! K? K.
[O is for overnight hospital stays] Two mysterious episodes in late teens, which 2 bigtime national expert type doctors think is genetic porphyria and all lesser doctors think was gastritis
[P is for phobias:] Agoraphobia (runs in the family; I pray I don't end up like my grandma). Is there a vomit phobia? I've got that. Blood, no problem; vomit, forget it. A driving phobia developed when I was about 30, it wavers back and forth from mild to major. Can't-breathe-o-phobia, whatever that is -- I freak out watching people in movies drown, suffocate, have asthma attacks, or end up like the person in
Spoorloos. [No more details; but rent it, OMG. It gave me the fantods.]
[Q is for quotes you like:] I have documents FULL of quotes I like, and none are on this computer... I like the quotes in my
LJ profile, and here are two more for fun:
"A heathen, conceivably -- but not, I hope, an unenlightened one."
(Lord Summerisle in
The Wicker Man)
"I’d like to eat color, and drink it, and sleep in it."
(Kate Douglas Wiggin)
[R is for relationship that lasted the longest] 11 years, Brent, first husband (married for 4 of those years)
[S is for sexual preference:] Mostly straight, a bit bisensual. (
yes,
yes, and

[T is for time u wake up:] 10:30-ish (and due to chronic insomnia, even that's difficult)
[V is for vegetable you love:] Baby peas (next in line after the big four from above)
[W is for worst habit:] Procrastination. It gets really ridiculous. I'll tell you about it sometime, but not now. haha
[X is for x-rays you've had] torso, foot, teeth (scoliosis, fractured, missing)
[Y is for yummy food you make:] Me? Fffft. I don't like to cook. But I used to be pretty good at potato soup. Seems like I have another good dish of some sort but I can't think of it right now.
[Z is for zodiac sign:] Pisces
