weird phone call
I just got the following phone call at the shop:
[youngish woman's voice, very extroverted and cheery, I assume she's a salesperson]
"Hi, this is Claudia calling you from San Diego! May I speak with the owner?"
"Speaking."
"So how are you all doing out there?"
"Just fine, thanks."
"Hey listen -- I want you to head out this way, so I can take you shark-fishing sometime!"
"Uhh...."
"We'll use my ex-husband as bait!"
[pause]
"Can I help you with something?"
"Nah, that's okay."
And she hung up.
OMG!WTF?
And...if it was just a prank call, why did she ask to speak wth the owner? I mean, would she have arranged to call BACK if the owner was out?
