It was snowing here yesterday. Of course it melted/rained away during the day but it was still a nice layer of snow on the hills behind the building. There's still some but no rain or snow this morning when I walked to work, it was a bit strange actually =P all the weather forecasts online say different things, it's quite amusing to read actually. One says sun, one says cloud, a third says heavy rain, one says heavy cloud...
I'm gonna do some more baking today. Did a test baking session on Monday and it worked out great, the muffins could have been a bit longer in the oven but it was still good. It's my turn to bring some "fika" to work tomorrow (Friday is a Bank holiday as is Monday, long weekend!!!) Luckily it doesn't take that long to bake, the only problem is that we don't have a big enough oven plate so I can only make 6 muffins at once =/ but then again, there are a few people from the Swedish and Norwegian team that are on holiday so I don't need to bake as much. I'll still make a double batch though, just to bring more than one muffin for everyone and the first verdict from other people who have tasted the muffins is that they're great so I'm sure they'll eat more than one each =P
It will be nice with some holiday. Then I can play WoW all night and watch Youtube until I can't stand the sight of videos and sleep as much or as little as I like for 4 days!! =D
It does make you appreciate the weekends more when you work all week. There's still a part of me that's in student mode but yeah, it is nice to have some money and some structure. The bad part would be that I only have a specific amount of holiday days available so I need to be smart about using them. I'm thinking of using like 2 weeks of them in July, then I can have the rest for the autumn if I want to go somewhere or if people are coming over and they want to go somewhere. Then I can use the holidays for that. We need to use them up as well, we can't save the days we have left for the next year. But yeah, I don't think that'll be a problem. I still got some travelling to do in this country, perhaps I'll do one of those whiskey tasting tours, like the ones they do for wine but with well.. whisky. Uisge beatha!! =P Tha mi ag iarraidh uisge beatha agus tae..woohoo. Yes, need to do some more reading and to actually speak it..Isle of Skye be ready when I get there, hihihihi
