(no subject)
So life is a little bit less stressful now.
We finally found an apartment!! It's a LITTLE PRICEY...that's an understatement...but I'm okay with it because it's an awesome place. I'm actually REALLY HAPPY we found it. It's one of those old Victorian houses. It's really cute and has a lot of character. On top of the cuteness, there's parking, laundry, and get this a PIANO!! I was so excited about the piano!! That's what sold me on the place! Plus, there are two bathrooms and I have my own bathroom in my room. My room is a good size...big enough to fit a queen bed and a bunch of other stuff in it. The kitchen is an amazing gourmet like kitchen with granite countertops. I'm getting very excited about moving...it seems really cozy and somewhere I can call home for a while! :) I just hope I get accepted to school there because it would suck if I don't!!
Anywho, on top of that I am waiting on my new desktop! Yup, Tosh decided to commit suicide this past week, which left me without a computer. I've been okay with it since I have a computer at work, but I've started to realize how much I relied on my laptop to keep me organized! Anyway, thanks to the TWO most amazing men in my life I now have two new computers!!
Yup...two! I am currently typing this on my new to me MacBook! :) It's actually still pretty new...only a few months old. I was a little worried about the switch to Mac, but I am completely happy with this laptop! I don't think I will ever switch back to PC after this. This thing boots up so fast I can turn it off and on multiple times before my old laptop would even power up. It's amazing. Plus, it's small and light to boot!!
My Daddy got me a Dell desktop with a 19" widescreen. I was really excited about it, until I got my hands on this Macbook. But, the desktop will be a backup computer. I will definitely need it when I go back to grad school since a lot of the engineering programs are windows based and I'm not going to rely on Bootcamp to be able to handle such large windows programs.
Anywho, things are pretty amazing at the moment. No complaints here. Life was getting me down for a while, but they're looking up now! :)
Tomorrow I'm gonna go watch Spider Pig Spider Pig with Abraham...I can't wait!
