There it is...
The snag we've all been waiting for....less than 24 hours before my closing, I went to the house today for the final isnpection and the place is a mess!! Construction materials everywhere, not finished painting...no screens on the windows, no gutters.
I have no idea if the sellers will be able to pull it off by tomorrow, but it was pretty frustrating to say the least. I even have all my closing documents at the office all ready to go! Arrgh!! But if I know one thing, it's to not sign a single closing document until everything is finished. So that means, unfortunately, that the closing may be pushed back. Here's hoping that doesn't happen.
Otherwise, it's going to be a good day. Potluck luncheon at work with lots of yummy food, dujour practice tonight and it's payday! Plenty still to be thankful for. Have a great day!
