Overdue?
I think it's been a while since I've done a proper update. I don't think there's a whole lot to say, but here goes.
There's stuff going on that I can't talk about. Really to anyone. It sucks, but it doesn't really directly affect me. So I guess it could suck a lot worse. I wanted to tell jhaight while I was home, but I definitely couldn't do that. I thought about telling drew2u when I got back, but we really haven't spent time together. So I'm sitting on it. I think I figured out what I needed to figure out in it, though. And my indirect part in it is a lot smaller than I initially thought. At least, I hope.
Birthday is coming up. My mom is coming to town tomorrow night so that she can watch the Country Music Awards. I have a meeting at work on Wednesday morning, then I guess I'm going to Rice Lake with my mom until Friday. I still have most of my stuff packed due to laziness, so that's a bit less for me to do. I don't think it'll be all that fun to be away from my apartment for a few days so soon after being gone almost a week. But it will be nice to spend some more time with my mom. I don't know if we're going to do something special for my birthday or not. Maybe go out to a bar? I bought a big bottle of wine, so maybe I'll bring that along.
As such, I will again be away from the internet for at least Thursday, but I'll try to at least get an hour to get up to speed.
I've been playing a lot of WiiWare Final Fantasy games. I mostly beat Crystal Defenders R1. I just need to get a perfect on the last level to open a secret level. I have about three levels left of Crystal Defenders R2. I'm not sure if there's a secret level on that, but I have a lot more levels that need a perfect rating before I can worry about that. And I'm about halfway through the third chapter of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. I think I have one chapter left after the current one, and then I need to download the next chapter: Rydia's Tale. Overall, I think After Years has 9 downloads to be released perodically.
I still need to finish watching The Dresden Files on DVD. I'm almost halfway through. And then I can start season 4 of Weeds. Right now, I'm going to watch the first episode of True Blood's second season.
