Grey's Anatomy Finale

I was crying uncontrollably up until about a minute ago. I was crying so hard, that I could barely see the television. This is bad, because I have to leave for work again in five minutes or so.

If this is how they go out, then I think it is a fitting and beautiful (if not heart-wrenching and insanely sad) sendoff. I just thought "007" to myself and almost started blubbering again. It was kind of interesting that they left Izzie's surgery and Meredith and Derek's wedding off-camera. I think it was the right idea, but still kind of shocking. Whatever the last scene meant (Meredith's death episode has me hopeful that it might not be the end), next season will definitely start off with a bang. I mostly knew about how they were ending the season, but I thought George was injured in Iraq and not by a bus. I'm really glad that this ended up being a surprise for me.

And what's with Cristina's boyfriends getting all buddy-buddy with George?

I also want to mention the guest stars. Shannon Lucio from The O.C. and Prison Break! Liza Weil (Paris from Gilmore Girls)! And Deb Mooney! Deb is from Everwood and is a very interesting situation. Knowing that Private Practice and Grey's are in the same universe, Deb plays two characters in that universe. She was a patient of Pete's in Private Practice and is Hunt's mom in Grey's.
