I watched a few things this morning, but I'm only really going to talk about the new Wonder Woman cartoon. I liked the Wonder Woman TV shows when I was a kid. I liked her on Super Friends and was okay with her on Justice League, but I've never been super into her. I've been kind of a bad gay comic nerd, because I've never idolized Wonder Woman. But this was a slow movie week, so I decided to rent Wonder Woman before it was too popular to readily get through Blockbuster.
I put it off and watched it last of my three movies, but I ended up really loving it. The writer had some really clever lines and managed to do a good job with characterization and plot. I recommend the cartoon if you like comics or cartoons. It also has a really nice feminist through-line and gives girls a nice role model. There's kind of a lot of death (not incredibly graphic), but the language is really clean.
