...that stops signs in Menomonie are optional during snowfall? This even applies when a pedestrian starts to cross the street in a crosswalk prior to the car even arriving at the intersection.
And I love that by noon almost nobody has even attempted to clear their sidewalk. Fuck you very much, people!
But I got a walk in today, and I mailed off more holiday cards (mostly cards that I was holding for the family that said they were coming to visit, but didn't), and returned my Blockbuster movies. I managed to order the last of my Christmas presents on Friday...and they've all shipped already! My mom's might not get to her before the 24th (her birthday), but it will get there sooner than her present(s) get to me. ;) And I was originally planning to not get my parents presents and just put the money toward my LASIK. The holiday spirit got to me. :D I have one last surprise present, but details of that won't be made public until Christmas Day.
My raise actually started with the paycheck I just got, so I've decided to splurge and allow myself to spend up to $100 to restock my kitchen. This means that I can hopefully pick up some healthier options to add to what I've been eating. Maybe I'll even get some fruits and vegetables!
