Ricky Gervais (creator of a little show called The Office) came up with another lesser-known show called Extras about "background artists" in motion pictures trying to find speaking parts in the movies that they appear in. Each episode features an actor or actress basically making fun of him or herself. You know the series is good stuff when the first movie has Kate Winslet dressed as a nun teaching an extra how to talk dirty to her boyfriend over the phone. Anyway, seek it out and watch it. It's so uncomfortably funny (which anyone that's seen The Office is probably used to) that you can't help but laugh out loud.
