You Are Now Entering Locke...

drew2u and I have had a very fun and productive morning. We made plans to hang out on my timeframe today, so he showed up at my place around midnight. We then went to Perkins for some late-night food (or what I would call "breakfast"). While we were there, three high school boys talked shit about gay people. Some of what they said was amusing when you listened to just how stupid they were, but I probably would have preferred being in a different area of the restaurant than they were. Nothing big happened, so it's not worth caring about.

Then we went to Wal-Mart to pick up some Christmas cookies to bake and Animal Crossing: City Folk. The guy in the electronics section didn't think they had it in, but he returned from the stock room with a copy for me. I ran into Trista's (my ex-roommate) best friend. So we caught up a bit, and then I was on my way. I seem to be reconnecting with a lot of people lately.

We came back to my apartment, and Drew played around online while I baked cookies. I did some daily/weekend things in Pokemon Diamond, and then we played capture the flag in the Pokemon underground when the baking was done. We then played some Lego Star Wars and completed the levels from the second movie. We're about 17% complete in the game.

And then I put in Animal Crossing and moved into the wonderful town of Locke. I got acquainted with my neighbors, picked some fruit, and went about the various tasks that Tom Nook had for me. But now I'm done with all that and have to wait until everything opens at 8:00 am. I even made some constellations. It took some doing, but I managed to get one to appear brightest on June 17th! Drew left a little after 5:00 am, I think. But it was a nice way to spend some fun video game time together!

I'm looking forward to getting my shovel, net, and fishing rod so that I can start collecting things for the museum. And it will be really cool to check out the city.
