drew2u complained about Heroes starting to be too much like The 4400 (and then said that he would stop watching it...which is pretty much what he does with everything). So I got to thinking about it, and I can definitely see a similarity in a prominent storyline.
The 4400 was canceled right as they were in the middle of a storyline where they had utilized one of the people with powers to create a serum that would give other people powers. Heroes just began a storyline where Mohinder was able to use Maya to create a serum that can give normal people powers. Okay, yeah, that's kind of a ripoff. However, Heroes has never been original. The entire premise was created decades ago and called X-Men. The reason to not care about that is the characters. Either you're intrigued by the characters and watch the show, or you aren't and don't. So I don't care that they're borrowing a storyline from a show that was canceled as it was getting good again. In fact, I'm glad that the storyline is getting a chance to play out in some form. I prefer most of the Heroes characters to the 4400 characters
