I watched it so you don't have to: Transformers
Transformers is one of those movies that is kind of review proof, but the movie said it best: "This is like, 100 times better than Armageddon!"
Basically, you take 2 parts summer blockbuster with 3 parts of fan wank to get the final film...and it's good. If you like big explosion summer movies, you will love this. If you grew up on Transformers, you will love this. There are a lot of great in-jokes and references to the old cartoon. There are actors from both Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and One Tree Hill. It's got a little something for just about everyone. And there's a certain character that reminded me a lot of a gremlin. But I don't want to say much. Just go see this movie. Or don't. But I suggest you do.
