musical apprentice
i have my first violin student! my mom's coworker is starting to learn violin, and has the delusion that its simple enough that he can learn on his own. well i guess it could be plausible, though i think it was frustrating enough when i began violin with a teacher! speaking of which, i have no idea what im going to teach this guy. for now, im just giving him an intro lesson since im going out of town next week, but i cant remember what my first lesson was like. any suggestions? :)
mr nardolillo and mr hollin left pvyo! more than anything else, this makes me really sad. i wish they could have at least told us earlier... and i would have wanted to say a few words to mr nardolillo. he's changed me in so many ways-- he sparked much of my increasing interest in violin and furthered my growth these few years. pvyo is really a big family to all its members and conductors... i dont know why people even ask me why i wont give it up.
started wearing my retainer again... i have to for at least 6 weeks because my front teeth started forming a huge overbite again. booo. it feels like i have braces on again. my teeth hurt.
tencia made a portrait of me! its beautiful! but the nature of it being me, i cant really tell if it looks like me or not... since obviously i perceive myself differently than others do. what do you think?
oh yeah leila josefowicz cd arrived! =) shes so talented... and since shes playing one of my favorite classical songs, its now my favorite cd as well...
a lot of people from church are at LIFE right now. . . i hope they're having loads of fellowship and growing closer to God! im praying for you guys everyday =)
