Wow this week has been incredible.
Friday I didn't have to go to school because my mom and my sisters and I went to go get out nails done which was pretty sweet. Then we had the rehearsal dinner at Mama Lacona's which was fun, but then I was so tired by then end of it I just when home and crashed at like 11.
Yesterday was my sister, Amber's, wedding. It was sooooooooo pretty, I was a bridesmaid and we all looked so pretty! It was a the church at Living History Farms and everything went so well. The photographer got some GREAT pictures and all the flowers were so pretty. Then when the ceremony was over Amber and he husband John ran out of the church and everyone was blowing bubbles at them. It was so cool. Then the whole wedding party got in a limo that drove us around and then to the reception hall where I saw Alex, Sam, Anna, Rachel, Kelsey, Nicole, and Beth sitting at at table together. I was really glad they all came and they all looked so nice. Then we all ate dinner. We had a really good caterer and they let us keep all the left over food so we have soooooooooo much food, enough to feed my family for weeks. Then my dad and sister both made toasts that went really well and then I got to go dance with all my friends. Then all my friends except for Alex left to go to the Homecoming dance at about 8:45. Then I just hung out with Alex and my family and then Alex and I got to slow dance a bunch and then we got to dance to Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, which is "our song" and that was REALLY fun. Then Alex's mom came out to get us at about 10.
The one bad part of the evening happened when I got in Alex's mom's car and the train of my dress didn't quite make it. It then got wrapped around the tire and totally ripped part of my dress off. At least it was just the train and didn't make a big hole, so I still wore it to the dance anyway. I was so surprised that I got compliments on my dress at the dance LOL.
Right after we got to the dance Alex gave me his gift for our 1 year anniversary. It was so cute, he had this big bag full of packaging peanuts and then it it was a box that I opened and found a big ugly rock in it. Then he said "Oh wait thats a rock. Maybe you'll like this one more." Then he pulled this tiny little gold box that had an absolutely gorgeous diamond ring in it. I was running around showing it to everyone it was so pretty. Homecoming was way more fun than I thought it was going to be.
I love Alex Weihs!!!
