Lots and lots of Yay-ness

My four days of work are over. Weekend! Yay! I still got some work to do (job#2, home office and all), but I might not do all of that before Monday. Some things have to be done, but some can also wait. There are a few other stuff that needs to be done (Greens, grad school, chores) but I hope I can still do that on my own schedule. Sleep in. Spend my evenings at home.

My coworker invited me for lunch today. We usually don't do lunch, but bring some sandwich or stuff from home. Today we had a meeting in the late afternoon and I thought about getting a salad from a nearby dinner, when he suggested to get some real lunch somewhere. And I really appreciated that. It made up for all those times I was annoyed about him for some stuff he did. Or didn't do...

I used to wear watches with a digital display for a couple years now. Mainly because I'm using public transport a lot and therefore need to know the exact time. Or else I'd risk to miss my bus or train. For reasons unknown last weekend I suddenly was tired of the digital display and felt the need to buy a traditional watch with hands and all. On Monday I went out and bought me a new watch :-) Which wasn't that easy, because I still need to know the exact time and so I needed one with clearly marked digits and all. But I was able to find one.

LOST is back. (Double Yay for that!)

I'm a spoiler-whore so of course I watched all the wonderful sneak peeks for the upcoming Grey's. It's going to be another amazing episode.

"She is going to need someone to freak out to..." OMG. He wasn't named McDreamy for nothing. He definitely knows his girlfriend/maybe-soon-to-be-fiance so well. And I adore him for that...

This afternoon I already told my coworker that I will take Monday 23rd February off. I was planning to watch the Oscars once again and even though I haven't seen many of the nominated movies (yet), I still think it's going to be a very interesting and exciting award ceremony. And of course there will be Hugh Jackman. :-)

And now I'm going to get back to "World Without End", which isn't Noble-Prize worthy literature, but I couldn't put it down for the last couple of days nonetheless. About 150 pages left to go. That's doable tonight... Or sometime tomorrow at the latest...
