More on Parenting
I don't know why more people aren't terrified of parenting. I know I am especially when one consider the enormousness/enormity of the task. I remember now why the baby stage scared me the first and truth be told it still does. I'm very tired... not sleeping well, not because of bubs but I think that with the stresses of bringing a baby into the world, my body has forgotten how to sleep in long stretches. Yet, amazingly, I manage to get through the day. At least, this time round, I know that there's light at the end of the tunnel... that they grow and in spite of our "incompetence", they survive.
I need to chuck those baby books... ;) and go with my maternal instincts, however meagre they are. Sometimes so-called experts stress me more than the baby does.
Heroes... is one amazing show *shakes head*. The last few episodes have been nothing short of brilliant. From the looks of things, it can only get better. I've been watching Psych... up to Ep 6... some of the schoolboy humour is lost on me but I like the writing and the originality of the premise. The fact that he's sort of a couldn't care less Sherlockian type endears him to me.
