Life Used to Be So Hard
So I have been listening to hours of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young lately. Enjoyable stuff, to say the least. I think I listened to "Deja Vu" 4 full plays today. Mind, this was due to my incessant driving today, and somewhat due to my laziness in changing the cd. Great stuff, though.
Hrmm. I worked 29 hours this week. I'd say that's pretty respectable. If I can keep it up, I'll be FILTHY RICH by the end of the summer! Uhh...that'd be a negative. I've officially decided I will NOT, absolutely NOT, under NO CONDITION, work my YMCA job next summer. The pay is shit and I get treated like a second class citizen at Teugega a good deal of the time. It'll either be guarding at Lake Delta, which from Courtney's experiences sounds terrific, or working at the College, or...going to China with Simon to teach English to little kids (cool or WHAT??). IF not China, then another academic-ish summer program abroad (Scotland, anyone?). I found out today that Steve Miller is presently in Scotland, visiting his SCOTTISH GIRLFRIEND. Does she have a brother? I find nothing more appealing than a Scottish accent. It's almost a problem, really. Hot Brits do it for me as well, but those Scots...oh sweet lord. Enough on that, I got me a Welsh/Irish boy, close enough!
I spent the last two evenings at the Rome Community Theatre, watching my Simon do his acting "thang". Candace accompanied me last night, and Matt and Jenn were my dates tonight. (I LOVE those kids). Simon was incredible. Absolutely amazing. I couldn't take the smile off my lips, hard as I tried. Even better the second night. [Sighs]. The Musical was a bit tiresome...(I accidentally typed "Bitch" there instead of "bit" above...hmm). Memorable lines of the evening were 1)- "Do you have a large penis?", and 2)-"So what if I don't have a penis?". I'm a sucker for the genital humor...as is Jenn. She laughed the loudest of the entire (huge) theatre, I'm convinced. Crystal was there...we chatted for a moment...I hadn't seen her since last year. A genuinely good friend to come to the plays, it says a lot about her.

Graduation parties tomorrow...Good stuff! You can betcher bottom dollar I'm doing some hardcore swimming at Courtney's!!!
