I got a kitten! Her name is Faith after Marianne Faithfull - Mick Jaggers wife. And haven't had a proper nights sleep since. I am a night person but I can't get by on 4 hours of sleep a night. I'm not as young and tough as I used to be. I love sleep, I would volunteer at sleep clinics for sleeping research.
I am also covered in scratches because my kitten thinks she's a monkey. She will sit on your shoulder while you're watching tv, or cooking or on the toilet. She's already mastered the technique of clawing her way up to your shoulder in 2.5 seconds without warning. I ran out of clothes this morning so I had to do the whole stockings and skirt look today and she attempted to claw her way up my leg. It hurt, oh gods did it hurt.
Still, she gets away with it because she's cuteness on 4 legs and shows me affection by letting me know seconds before she's going to poop somewhere other than her litter box - i.e. our couch, our pot plant, under the bookshelf, my bed...
