Art Post!

Wow, haven't done this in a while, so this will be somewhat long...

Quick character sketch. I may return to this character at some point in the future - I like the design.

An NPC of mine for my Rokugan game - an old friend of the Emperor whose role has yet to be played out (thanks to the intervention of the PCs).

Another random "this sounds like a fun sketch to make, I think I'll do it."

"I need a pink alien chick with big boobs!" Alrighty then - one of the more interesting sketch requests I've received.

Artwork by the fabulous Hugo Solis - I merely colored these lines for him.

Pathfinder Fan Service #4. No doubt there will be more in the future. Tried out some new things with this pic, mostly in using DAZ Studio to get the pose right and trying a new coloring technique (which I also used in the following picture).

Commission for Stefan "farewell2kings" Happ. A Christmas present for his gaming group. Quite impressive at full size - I do like how this came out. In addition to using a different coloring technique (more painterly background, while using line art with texture coloring for the figures), I used Google SketchUp to model the station in the background. In other news, some good has come of the downsizing at work. Earlier this year, the owner of the company bought enough Ikea desks to fill a 20 person phone center. To put it kindly, expectations were not met, and many large desks were unused, covered in a fine layer of dust, and later disassembled to make room for other things. Out of curiosity, I asked my boss if I could take one of the desks for personal use (as I really like the setup I have at work with said desk). Boss is a generous man - I came home with a nice corner desk, 80 inches on each side, and adjustable height legs. It's quite incredible the difference having the height of your desk appropriate to your height - I do believe my wrists and hands will thank me for this as I do artwork. My old desk fell apart as I was taking it out to the trash, a mess of old dried wood glue, particle board and veneer. I'm glad to be rid of the cramped thing - the real estate of the new desk is unreal. I'll post pictures of it at some point - the desk is large enough for a dual-screen PC setup, plus a 20-inch iMac (NEW *squee*), and a 42 inch drawing desk that's propped on one half.

With room to spare.
