A rogue surprised me in my room at the Legerdemain today. Her name is Lorelli and she had a nasty knife wound. I’m not exactly sure from where but the gist I got was that it had something to do with her previous employer. Salotte, the orc woman who had helped me in Verdaa when he had a seizure in the guild hall, referred Lore to me for healing. So she visited… by coming in through the window. Not conventional by any means, but as she explained to me her situation the shock of it wore off. She was also rather flirtatious with me, but that sobered off when she learned that I am seeing someone.
The blade that cut her was poisoned and the poison was preventing the blood from clotting. I had her lie down and I used a spell to draw the poison out. It didn’t take long, but I could tell by her wincing that it was painful. Afterwards I cleansed the wound with holy water and wrapped her in bandages. She’s now asleep on my bed as I write this.
I’m going to suggest she take up residence in Vindicated’s guild hall, as she sounds in need of new employment, anyway. We could set her up with a room and sign her up for jobs, there are always plenty and I don’t think we employ many rogues at the moment.
((A noticeable change in pen ink occurs.))
Back from the guild hall. I set Lore up with a room, however we ended up having to lock-pick our way into Mez’s desk to get a key as no officers were around. Noix was there, though, and we had a bit of conversation while Lore ate some food, she was starving and looks a lot skinnier than she should be.
This may sound presumptuous but I think Kassogtha would take a liking to her. I’ll have to see about getting them to meet.
