Going by the groups you're a member of, it seems like we have a number of interests in common, plus I've had the pleasure of reading your work. At the very least this warrents further journal reading investigation. *smile*

Yeah, and we seem to have friends in common!

...Just out of curiousity, what stuff of mine have you read? I'm always happy to know what people think of my writing.

It was some of your stuff on fan_constructs, namely "Of Swords and Words" and "August 1771".

By the by, I read your reviews for dragonlady's Maxim/Zeetha fest, and a couple of comments caught my attention:

"Is it a bad thing that speculation--and the idea of half-Jägers--is the sole reasoning behind my fan character Brunhilde?"

"The "human raised by Jägers" is now a minor character in my ongoing fantheories."

Out of curiousity, did anything come of either of them? Both ideas sound interesting.

Sadly, nothing ever did come of those. Mainly because the Foglios said, no there definitely aren't any half-Jaegers. Which makes me wonder how, if Oggie's supposedly the oldest and over 500 years old, how he can have great-great-grandchildren. Shouldn't there be a few more "greats" in there?

According to an interview done by possibly the luckiest fan ever, even the Foglios don't know if Oggie had kids before or after being Jaegar-fied but they have decided that Jaegarness isn't inheritable so any kids they had would be human.

However, that still leaves your other idea, plus a few thought of my own.
