Love is the best endeavour waiting in the lion's mane Five men Joanna didn't want - and one man she loved. Er. Yes. It's quite schmoopy and rated PG-13. Joanna/Tywin. 5800 words.
Ambitious blonde people are the best thing in the world. This is why we love them so much. Who needs silver hair and purple eyes when you can have hard determination and golden curls?
He is really quite hot, yes. It's disturbing what commanding middle-aged men do to me. I remember watching a mediocre comedy where all of a sudden Charles Dance appears, stark naked and K went "shit, he's not allowed to look like that at his age."
Tywin/Joanna is the best pairing, I am ridiculously fond of it. I admit I'm only in it for the Lannisters anyway but I so love the romantic streaks in this family. It's like their inner mantra goes "ambition, power, money, LOVE OMG LOVE, winning, DOING SHIT FOR LOVE, power, plotting."
Name of comedy, please. *entirely innocent looks, showing up from nowhere*
As in, I lurk, and have yet to get the time to read your previous one, but it was saved to read just as this one (which I glance read through while still online), so hi and all. Appreciated.
Heh. It's Starter for 10 (imdb link). Charles Dance shows up for about five minutes as someone's imposing and slightly scary father and then he is naked. :)
I loathe IMDB doing their "png, do these three steps. (And like hell I will)" disallowing of linking to their goddamn PROFILES, instead of even photos or whatever it is they're so afraid of people getting to if there are links to *gasp* lead someone to something. *headdesk* But then I'm extra tired right now, too, so it's even worse at the moment.
I couldn't remember if Tywin wasn't supposedly already solely in charge when he got rid of the pesky houses, but if his father wasn't already dead then (to have allowed anything of the sort seeming possibly uncharacteristic), I could see why you'd have gone with that option for a fic such as this. It's also interesting to see different versions, so many opting for the "Joanna was older than Tywin" thing.
I assume Tywin took over the lordship when his father died and that was years later, I think the twins were even born.
According to the wiki Tywin was still in his late teens when he smashed the rebellion and in my head it's always been rebellion -> Tywin is made Hand -> Tywin is Lord of Casterly Rock, but I could be wrong. I've sort of assume that he was in charge of a lot of things during his father's last years, including the army.
Yeah, the age thing I've noticed, too. I have no preference either way.

(Malfoys leaving the fighting was the best scene in the last HP movie. It's just so endearing.)
