Suddenly she is furiously jealous, thinking of how he will remarry, how another woman will learn the same things about him and Joanna will fade away in his memory.

The whole thing is beautiful, but that line struck me most just because its everything Tywin didn't do. I love how you write him, and her, and how he's seen through her eyes. Their relationship feels like a twisted Disney romance with all the magic and without the happily ever after. In short: I loved it!

And your Genna is fantastic, btw. ♥

Thank you very much! I have a thing for Tywin's emotionally stunted, stoic way of styaing faithful to his late wife, I must admit.

Genna is probably my favourite minor character in the books, I had to tweak her in somehow. :)

I love this so much, I can't even pick a favorite part. I love the way you write Joanna/Tywin (and seriously, fandom needs more of it). I love the glimpses of the twins we get here. Most of all I love the ending--so incredibly heartbreaking, so characteristic. It really brought a tear to my eye.

Oh god I love this. I think this is he best fic I've read ever. I quite literally teared up a little bit, which is rather embarrassing considering I'm sitting in the uni library.

This is just beautiful - one of the best Lannister fics I've read. It really shows the human side of Tywin.

Thank you so much for the lovely comment! I was really going for the similarities between Joanna and Jaime in particular - that's pretty much how I see him in a (healthy) relationship, heh.

This fic is very inspired by Jaime's scene with Genna in the first place, so I just had to include her, if only for a few lines. She's one of those characters that just feels spot-on to me, I love her despite only having "met" her very briefly, so to speak. I am so happy you think I did her justice.

I am definitely willing to write more Tywin/Joanna! If I could come up with something more unique than "Joanna didn't die" for the AU theme, I'd be on it already. :)
