Cartography: Done!

Cartography is done. My massive WIP all finished and waiting for the sequel to be written. This is a collection of stuff related to the story.

Such as the two tie-in ficlets I wrote:

Make me to rest in the warmest of places (Elissa/Leliana, rated M for smut, 1200 words)

Dude. And I was over here making a playlist/fanmix while I was reading both fics, and I managed to overlap you with two songs. How...odd? Considering they're "Something to Sing About" and "My Skin", of which the former is a musical from a decade ago and the latter is NATALIE MERCHANT and I thought I was the only fan she had left...

(Now I just need to find Loghain/Elissa fanart so I can finish it...fandom mixtapes FTW!)

Haha, that's great! I especially love that you picked "Something to sing about" because I really think that's a song for Elissa. :) (I don't think Loghain is her Spike, however. :P)

Fandom mixtapes FTW, indeed!

Here's the theme song for Our endless numbered days, also known as The Big Cartography Sequel:

Oh so pretty and wistfully sad. Now I'm not sure what to expect from your sequel lol But I like it that way...not knowing what to expect, that is.

Is it weird that this song came into my head when she left for Orlais? Through your fic, it's become my quintessential Loghain song. (Along with Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt")

I love the song because it's so impossible to define as either happy or sad. :)

And definitely, I can see Devils and Dust as a Loghain song.

And I'm just trying to survive / What if what you do to survive /Kills the things you love

Ah, Loghain angst. So shiny. :)

Before I comment-spam you with the whole damn mixtape, maybe I should get on that...

(Also, your song reminded me of this book. Which is one of my very favorites, and it made me want to read it again...the amazon synopsis makes it sound sorta cheesy, but it's delightfully whimsical with a touch of deep-seeded emotional issues regarding people who don't stick around...)

I'd love to see the whole track listing once you're done. :)
