Well, it's not Soper Feminist Omg that Sarah Jane claims to have waited until now for the Doctor. But dear fandom, it's even less (on the wonderful fandom scale that always must be used) feminist (and how I wish fandom would stop using this word in every context) to say that because she doesn't have any kids she's wasted her life pining for a man omg omg SHE DIDN'T BREED! Last time I checked my Rules of Feminism they didn't state that in order to lead a fulfilling life one must breed, get married and not have any weakness/hang-up/great unrequited love.
It's very possible to never really "get over" someone and still live your life. Many many people make those observations through their existence and it might be a tad nasty to call their lives wasted because of it.
