(no subject)
I took the psychology gre yesterday. I honestly have no clue how it went. I felt pretty confident about most of it, but that just means I could narrow the answers down to two. Gah. When it was over I went to Starbucks and they had the holiday drinks. Yay for my peppermint mocha (shutup...I know I can get it anytime, but it's just better when it's cold out). So that made me happy.
I still have to write my stuff for my applications. I really suck at this kind of writing. I'd rather just write a research paper. I emailed Dr. Herek today. He's the reason that I want to go to Davis. He told me a little about how the review process works, so that's good. I half expected him to email me back saying that I shouldn't bother applying. So I'm happy that he didn't. Dr. Noyes and Dr. Carton are writing recs for me, and as soon as I get some more info to Dr. Marks he'll do them too.
So things are coming along. Hopefully I'll be done before turkey day.
Speaking of which: I'm very annoyed that I'm not going to be able to see Harry Potter friday. My class is having its thanksgiving feast friday night, and it's going to be crazy. Around 80 people that are going to make a huge mess and rely on me to clean it up. I'd so much rather be watching Harry Potter.
