Rednecks Galore
I went to the Swampbuggy races for the first time ever on sunday with Gia and Chelsea. It actually wasnt as terrible as you would think, or as i thought it would be anyway. I also got to see Gia's 24 year old bf Josh there (it was the whole reason behind us going) so that was cool to hang out with him. He really isnt a big creep even though he is going out with a 17 year old. The big age gap still really freaks me out, but i now have not much room to talk since my 18 year old cousin just had a baby with a man who is 32.. sick sick people. But anyways... I saw more Confederate flags than i have ever seen in my life at this thing. EVERYONE (with the exception of the 3 of us) was wearing a confederate flag t-shit. It was a little appauling. I also saw a truck with "Kerry is an asshole" painted on to the side of it. Talk about ignorance. And.. (not to sound raciest) i saw only 2 black people there out of hundreds, probably thousands of people. Just an interesting tid-bit.
Today i had a meeting for Model UN and was so unprepared. But thanks to my dearest friend Aaron, my life was somewhat saved by the research that he gave to me this morning on my topic. I really need to get my act together on that stuff. I thank you again Aaron!
Oh i almost forgot. Stephen and i took the ASVAB test today and came to the mutual agreement that it was gayer than Aaron is. :) It really was kind of pointless, even though i got out of two classes. I know now that i should never do anything in the field of auto mechanics or electricity. This is really helpful because i was deeply considering careers in both of these extensive fields. HA!
