in the dawning of these lost ages, i look for your face, i strain my ears to hear your voice, i reach out to touch your skin. i don't know who you are. upon this large rock, i scream your name, only to be left in silence. the day breaks, and so do i. the evening rests, and i'm left exhausted from my searching, straining, screaming, reaching. i expect that one day the sun will rise, and i will see things clearly, that all will unfold in beautiful cascade of rain and sun, until then, i will sit, searching for the unknown.
