More Buffy!
I'm about a quarter of the way through episode seven of the first season (meaning we know next to nothing about Angel, who I strongly suspect is a vampire, and we've only just discovered who the "Anointed One" is) and I must say, I like this series more and more as it progresses! Ridiculous amounts of eye candy aside, it's a fun show. <3
A few things that came to mind as I watched:
1.) Giles is a walking stereotype, but I like him anyway.
2.) Everyone/Willow OTP! Buffy/Everyone OTP! Buffy/Willow OTP!
3.) Predatory Xander is weirdly hot.
4.) Edward Cullen could take a few lessons about being a creepy, obsessive, stalker (vampire?) from Angel.
5.) I like how close it keeps to the classical vampire mythos! Obviously there are some departures (I see little obsessive-compulsive counting), but as a whole it's acceptable.
6.) There is no number six; I just have this thing about which numbers lists can end in.
7.) The cheese is still present, but I am either learning to like it or ignore it! Either way, yaaaay.
EDIT: Now halfway through. The vampire-Angel thing has been confirmed! Lovely. I wonder what makes him different from other vampires? Also I want to know if he's going to put his hot face back on or stay all snarly.
